This update improves the reliability of the audio level meter on iOS 26.4 and iOS 26.5. In some cases on these versions, the meter could appear stuck at the bottom, even when your microphone was actively capturing sound. With this update, REC switches to an alternate measurement method on iOS 26.4 and 26.5 so the level display stays responsive and reflects real input. On all other iOS versions, REC continues to use the standard system audio meter. Thank you for using REC and for helping us keep it dependable for your video workflows.
