Hook Caption

Version 2.1 adds Timing Audit, a local caption-quality panel that checks first-caption speed, hook length, average reading speed, overlapping captions, dead gaps, and caption coverage before export. This update also refreshes screenshots and metadata for the current workflow.

HookCaption 1.2 - What's New SRT subtitle file export HookCaption now exports a standards-compliant SRT subtitle file from your captions with one tap. The SRT includes your opening hook as the first block and all timed caption cards in sequence. Use it on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or any caption editor that accepts SRT files. Your work is saved automatically The app now saves your hook text, caption cards, caption style, platform choice, post caption, and hashtags as you work. Reopen HookCaption and your last project is ready - no re-entering captions between sessions. Save and reuse your own hooks Tap the heart icon next to "Opening Hook" to save any hook to your personal library. Saved hooks appear in a collapsible list below the starters - tap to load, tap the trash icon to remove. Keeps up to 30 hooks. Expanded Hook Bank - 30 starter packs across 8 categories Two new categories are added to the Hook Bank: Story (personal narrative openers like "The moment I almost gave up") and Tutorial (step-by-step promise openers like "Three steps and this is done"). The Hook Bank now contains 30 ready-to-edit starter packs. EXPORT shortcut in the header The EXPORT badge at the top of the screen is now a live button that scrolls directly to the Export panel so you never have to hunt for it.
