1. Meet 12 new cameras: two old phones (Color 8 · 2013, Pod 0.7 · 2010), seven single-use cameras and three instant cameras. 2. Video is here, just as so many of you requested! You can now record with iY2K. Old phones use their original quality (1080p or 720p), while vintage digital cameras use the video sizes and frame rates of their era. Video is available only for cameras that supported it in real life, with up to '3 minutes' per clip. 3. Tap the shutter while recording a video to take a photo too. Handy for capturing a selfie along the way! 4. You can now take photos using the volume buttons. 5. A new single-use camera section brings four color looks (two waterproof) and three black-and-white looks. You'll also find three instant-film looks: a box camera, a folding SLR and a current model. Instant shots are saved as square photos with a white border, like real instant prints. Previewing these looks in the viewfinder is free; taking and saving photos requires an additional purchase. Cardboard cameras use rolls of 27 frames, and instant looks use packs of 8. The monthly unlimited pass and lifetime unlock cover all 10. Additional purchases apply only to the single-use section; your original 16 looks stay included. Just like the real cameras, single-use and instant models take one photo per press, with no burst shooting. 6. Open iY2K straight from the Lock Screen. Add a Lock Screen control or widget to use it without unlocking your phone. 7. Select several photos from your library and apply a look to all of them at once. Less tapping, more time for your photos! 8. Swipe sideways while viewing a photo to browse other shots taken with iY2K. 9. Photos now fill the editing screen. Pinch out or double-tap for a closer look. 10. On iPhone 17 models, you can now shoot with a wider view using the front camera. 11. Your photos now include iY2K and the camera look's name in their camera and lens information and file names. We've paid attention to the little details. 12. We've refined the colors and noise of several cameras to bring them closer to the real thing. 13. Fixed crushed shadows when shooting with flash in the dark. 14. Fixed the app closing when opening very large photos (high-resolution, panorama or RAW) from your library. 15. Photos with black bands on the sides are automatically retaken. We also fixed the viewfinder not appearing on some devices. 16. Fixed the shutter staying locked after an interrupted capture and outdated error messages appearing. 17. Meta measures app launches and purchase events only if you allow tracking. Declining does not restrict any features. We've updated the privacy policy.

The shutter now responds the instant you tap, and you can review your last shot right in the app. Fixed grid-like noise and diagonal stripes in dark scenes and selfies. The front camera now reproduces the field of view and detail of the old iPhone's front camera. Fixed photos being saved in the wrong orientation. Saving is faster.

Fixed an issue where the app froze on a black screen and closed itself on iPhone Air. Thanks to everyone who reported it.

Three old compact digital camera models have been added: FX 2006, Power 2002 and QSF 400. Turn the date stamp on or off, just like on an old digital camera. Swipe sideways to switch camera models. You can now open iY2K directly from the Lock Screen or Control Center (iOS 18). We refined the colors and tones of the old digital cameras even further using the real devices as reference. We fixed capture and screen rotation issues, and made burst shooting smoother.
