You deserve credit for using Gardening Pro to take your garden seriously. A good garden is built from patient notes, saved seed labels, careful bed work, honest harvest counts, and the small decisions you make every week. This update gives that work a cleaner home with stronger garden planning, better seed inventory, easier record keeping, and local-first tools for a busy growing season. What's new in this update: - A refreshed local-first garden planner for beds, containers, raised beds, greenhouse benches, flower gardens, herb gardens, vegetable gardens, and small homestead growing. - A clearer seed inventory list that shows seed names first, so you can scan your seed collection without opening every record. - Seed records now sort by Seed Name A-Z, with a Crop/Variety A-Z option for gardeners who organize by crop type. - Seed rows show seed name, crop or variety, garden, and quantity details in a more useful order. - New searchable seed name popup with common seed names plus your existing local seed records. - New searchable garden popup in seed entry, using garden names already saved in the app. - Common quantity presets for packets, seeds, starts, bulbs, cloves, tubers, slips, sets, ounces, pounds, grams, and kilograms. - Cleaner quantity fields for Bought, Planted, and Left, with less duplicate placeholder text. Garden and record editing improvements: - Garden, seed, task, journal, and harvest editors now have a top action strip in one horizontal row. - Actions appear in a clear order: HELP, Share, Reset, Example Set. - Share creates a readable draft summary you can send or save before or after editing. - Reset returns the editor to the values it had when opened. - Example Set fills believable starter values that you can edit instead of starting with every field blank. - Help is easier to reach from the editor without hunting through settings. New help and app guidance: - Added a full SwiftUI Help view with a search bar at the top. - Help is organized into sections for Getting Started, Gardens, Seeds, Plantings, Tasks, Journal, Harvests, Search, Reference, Reports, Export, Settings, Pro, Privacy, and Troubleshooting. - Garden and Seed master views now include a question mark button in the top-left toolbar for quick help. - About is now available directly from the More view. - Privacy and App Support moved into About, with version, support, App Store, contact, and warranty information. - The small Help block was removed from About because the app now has a dedicated searchable help area. Planning, reports, and local data: - Dashboard, Calendar, Tasks, Planting, Journal, Harvest, Search, Reference, Reports, Settings, and More continue to work around your local garden records. - Backup export remains free, so you can keep a copy of your garden records without upgrading. - Backup packages can include local photo attachments as separate files. - Pro import, expanded limits, planning tools, and printable reporting remain available for gardeners who need more room. - Existing migrated records stay readable, searchable, editable, and exportable, even if they are above the new free limits. Polish for daily use: - Better App Store link placement inside the app. - Friendlier About, privacy, support, and warranty organization. - More useful seed and garden choices during data entry. - Clearer help text for gardeners who want practical guidance, not clutter. - Continued focus on local records, garden planning, seed tracking, harvest logs, journal notes, and fast lookup. This release is about making Gardening Pro easier to trust while you grow: faster seed lookup, clearer garden records, better help, stronger local backups, and practical tools for gardeners who check details because the season matters.
