Starling - Mobile Banking

Struggle to use the Starling app because of accessibility needs? There’s a place in the app where you can learn how to make the app and your device more accessible. You can customise the app, learn about your device’s accessibility settings, and get support from us. To find it, go to ‘Settings’ and tap ‘Customisation and accessibility support’.

Is your child 13 or older? If so, they can add their Under 16s Card to their mobile wallet to make spending on the go easier. To allow your child to set this up, head to the ‘Cards’ section of the app and turn on their mobile wallet access.

Planning a holiday? With automatic transfers, you can move money from your main balance into a Space so it’s ready in time for your trip. You can stop transfers on a specific date or after a set number of payments. To set up or edit automatic transfers, tap ‘Manage Space’ and then ‘Automatic transfer’.

Need a secure way to let someone spend money from your account on your behalf? Whether it’s a carer, childminder, or a trusted friend, the Connected card could make life a little easier. It’s an extra card you can give to anyone you trust. The money comes out of the Connected Space and it’s capped at £200, so you’re always in control. To get started, head to the ‘Spaces’ section of the app.

Ready to take the next step and get a joint account? To get started, you’ll both need a Starling personal account. You can then apply for a joint account together in the same room – you’ll each need to open the app and apply at the same time. Once your application is approved, your joint account will be ready to use, and you’ll each get your own debit card.
