- explore got a full redesign. category tiles, a places directory, filter chips and a proper grid, and it's fast. - making a top four got much smoother. the picker searches properly instead of glitching as you type, shows what you've already picked, suggests topics people actually recognize, and every pick keeps the rec behind it. - make three top fours and five credits land in your wallet, with a callout on the hub tracking how close you are. - see what your friends are into. friend activity shows on more discovery cards, and the people you follow carry more weight in what you get shown. - take control of your letterboxd diary. decide whether entries publish on their own or wait for you, and publish or hold back any single entry. - friday joy stories feel better. a proper home stories pager, saner ordering, and a smoother zoom in and out. - push notifications look cleaner. the sender's face on the left, the rec's picture on the right, no more of the same photo twice, and clearer wording. - search and filters inside scene feeds, so a busy scene is actually navigable. - editing a rec keeps the place it's pinned to, instead of opening empty and quietly dropping it. - ama answers read as answers now, with their own rows on your profile. - the widget stops going blank or showing stale picks. - messages and comments animate out of the composer instead of just appearing. - articles and posts use your theme's fonts, headings included. - a buuuuuunch of other clean up & improvements
- v3.0.3728d ago
top four is here. pick your four favorite things in any category and reorder the rail on your profile. your pinned picks can be liked and commented on. find your friends. match your contacts, pull in people you already know from instagram, and see nearby users, taste matches and new voices all in one place. tip people for recs you love. tips work on comments now, you can set your own amount with a slider, and you can let your tip show publicly. catch up on friends' stories right from the today module, and see who viewed yours. like a story or skip to the next one without leaving it. asks got a lot better. answer links in conversations, a cleaner ask bar, and ask replies stay off your profile unless you put them there. newsletters read and behave properly now. full post content, links that work, unsubscribe and resubscribe that actually stick, and a discovery feed for finding new ones. re-rec a newsletter post or an article and it shows up as a proper card instead of a bare link. polls show up in full in feeds instead of a cut down card. your writing is safer. a broken photo can't wipe your draft any more, formatting survives an edit, and removing a photo from a rec works. a new do u know me daily set to play. headings in posts render as real headings instead of literal hashes, and the link you type on a rec gets saved with it. sign in emails are more reliable, with a resend option and a heads up when you're switching accounts. much steadier overall. fixed a crash that could take the app down about a second after launch, plus a long tail of smaller fixes.
