- Branding: NovaAccess is now NovaScale. The user-facing app name, wording, onboarding, and support surfaces have been refreshed around the new NovaScale identity while keeping existing app data and settings intact. - Remote Codex: Added an experimental remote Codex workspace for tailnet machines. Connect to your own Codex CLI/app-server on Mac or Linux over NovaScale's built-in Tailscale connectivity, browse hosts and threads, start new workspaces, upload images, review Markdown and tables, copy transcript content, stop or interrupt running turns, and jump back into active work from in-app or system notifications. - Remote Codex setup: Added guided setup for Codex hosts, including automatic deployment for supported Mac and Linux machines, manual setup with QR code or URI, app-server schema/version checks, token handling, per-host thread caching, pagination, refresh controls, and faster loading for long thread histories. The setup script is optional; use it for quick deployment or connect to a Codex app-server configured your own way. - Interface: Refreshed the app around the NovaScale rebrand with a more consistent design system, cleaner colors, standardized radius and list styles, improved host cards, better empty states, a reorganized More tab, new Help/FAQ links, and a clearer onboarding flow that explains SSH, web access, monitoring, SFTP, and remote Codex. - SSH and Terminal: Improved terminal attach/reconnect behavior, public host recovery, network-change handling, warm-up and reconnect indicators, session-state handling, combo key and simple command sync, prompt sheets, keyboard/composer behavior, and several terminal management edge cases. - Monitoring: Added Docker monitoring and container lifecycle management (stop/start/restart), expanded Linux-based OS and macOS monitoring, improved process-list performance and error recovery, and refined demo cards, iPad layouts, and monitoring card visuals. - Web Access: Improved the in-app browser with Safari-style collapsing chrome, request-desktop-site support, in-page search, clearer first-use hints, and smoother access to internal sites. - Network Diagnostics: Added a dedicated Tailscale ping diagnostic tool to help diagnose tailnet connectivity issues more clearly from inside NovaScale. - Reliability: Updated the built-in Tailscale/libtailscale stack, improved foreground/background and Wi-Fi/cellular/VPN transition behavior, fixed multiple crash and stale-state issues, improved Codex notification routing, and addressed memory/performance problems found during release testing. Note: Remote Codex uses the official Codex app-server and connects to its authenticated WebSocket over your tailnet. Your chat and thread data stay on the host running Codex.
