Ida — One match at a time

What's new in this update: • Made your call on someone in your Stellar Selection? Their card now leaves your Discover deck instantly — no more running into it again. • The "Rate this photo" badge now folds into a small logo after a moment, so it never covers a photo. Tap it anytime to rate. • Smoother sign-up: the first-photo step now tells you exactly what's needed, and the photo picker shows only the albums that matter — including your own. • The height picker no longer overlaps the title. • Discover got a glow-up: the card now fills your whole screen, photos are never cropped — you see the whole photo framed in a soft glassy reflection — and the person's distance sits right under their name. • Swiping feels snappier: you can swipe the next profile right away, and quick flicks now register reliably. • Photo browsing keeps up with you too: tap through a profile's photos as fast as you like. • Photos now show up sharp right away — no more blurry flash before every photo. • Swiping got playful: the like and skip buttons come alive under your finger as you drag, with a satisfying pop (and a little buzz) when you make your call. • Fixed a rare bug where a conversation could get stuck showing unreadable "encrypted" messages. Your chats stay safely end-to-end encrypted. • Fixed a bug where Discover could freeze on a profile you couldn't swipe after visiting another tab. Everything stays responsive now. • Emoji reactions now pop up in the conversation the moment they happen — no more waiting for an app restart to see them. • Plus reliability improvements and small fixes throughout.

This update is all about reliability. • Staying signed in — a flaky connection could sometimes log you out for no reason. Fixed. You stay in unless you actually sign out. • Opening the profile of someone who just left Ida no longer hangs on an endless loading screen. • If a photo can't be added, the app now tells you what went wrong instead of failing silently. • Smarter connection handling behind the scenes — a little easier on your battery and data. • Plus a few small fixes under the hood.
