Steuere alles in den Einstellungen für Werbeblockierung und Datenschutz. • Einstellungen — neu in klare Gruppen gegliedert, damit alles leichter zu finden ist. Außerdem: aktualisierte Chromium-Engine, Fehlerbehebungen für Abstürze beim Start, Start über Kurzbefehle, iPad-Hinweise und Flackern bei Top-Sites sowie weitere kleinere Korrekturen und Verbesserungen im gesamten Browser.

Das ist neu • Passwortmanager — Lege Comet in den iOS-Einstellungen als Anbieter für AutoFill fest, damit deine gespeicherten Anmeldedaten in jeder App ausgefüllt werden. • Kurzbefehle-App — 11 Comet-Aktionen für deine Automationen und Siri, darunter Suchen, URL öffnen und privates Browsen. • Spotlight-Kurzbefehle — öffne direkt aus Spotlight einen neuen Tab, privaten Tab, Sprachmodus oder die Suche. Außerdem: Der Passwortmanager öffnet sich jetzt sofort, dazu Fehlerbehebungen für den Sprachmodus, Tab-Menüs und iOS 18-Darstellung sowie weitere kleinere Korrekturen und Verbesserungen im gesamten Browser.

New & shiny • Auto-close old tabs — a new Tabs setting tidies away tabs you haven't touched in a while. • Type right away — opening a new tab now brings up the keyboard automatically, from every entry point (with a setting to turn it off). Bug fixes & improvements We updated to Chromium 150 for speed, compatibility, and security. Pages no longer slip under the status bar, find in page is steadier, and tab actions look sharper in dark mode and incognito.

New: • Mute a tab — mute or unmute a page's sound right from Page actions. • Tab settings — new Tab Settings in Settings: auto-close inactive tabs (after a day, week, or month) and auto-open the keyboard on new tabs. • Assistant, one tap away — the Assistant now sits right next to the address bar on any page and on the New Tab page. Fixed: • Find on page — reopening Find on page no longer crashes the app. • Attach a file — attaching a file from the address bar no longer hides the text box. • New Tab page — the feedback banner no longer overlaps the address bar. Also: smoother address-bar focus and typing, and lots of smaller polish and fixes.
