More fine-tuning at the pump. The scanner got smarter about which reading to trust, so that stubborn last digit — the one glare loves to mess with — lands right more often. And those reversed black-screen displays now get spotted even when they only fill part of the frame. Plus the usual polish under the hood. Drive safe out there.

Two new tricks this time around. Auto-Backup: flip it on and CarLog quietly keeps a fresh backup there every time your data changes. Set it, forget it, sleep better. Pump Scanner: those reversed displays with bright digits on a black screen used to leave it staring blankly. Now it reads them like any other pump. Plus the usual polish under the hood. Drive safe out there.

Forget to bump the odometer before saving a fill-up? CarLog now catches you in the act. If the reading still matches your last fill-up, or you've somehow racked up a tankful that works out to 1,000 MPG, you'll get a friendly tap on the shoulder before the entry sneaks in. You can still save anyway when you really did go that far between visits. Plus the usual polish under the hood. Drive safe out there.

Lifetime MPG, calculated the way you'd actually do it. The average MPG on your dashboard now uses total miles driven divided by total gallons burned across every fill-up — the same arithmetic you'd do on the back of a receipt. The old formula took a simple mean of each tank's MPG, which let a quick city fill weigh the same as a 400-mile highway run, and that's not how the wallet works. If you've ever stared at the lifetime number and thought "that doesn't match my actual costs," it does now. The Settings tab is also now "More" — with the iOS-standard ellipsis — because it's been doing more than settings for a while. Drive safe out there.
