  • v1.1.03mo ago

New features: • Brand new Arpeggiator sequencer for custom arpeggios. • Pitches and Velocity utilities for animating sequences. • Support for CC control: a new Control sequencer for generating CCs, as well as assigning control over Waymaker with CCs. • All new scale modes: create a sequence of different scales, or follow external MIDI input for completely custom scales. • Full-fledged menu for editing a chain of MIDI sequencers, including muting, deleting, rearranging, and tapping to go straight to a sequencer. • Step sequencer has been revamped with performance in mind. Now includes four directions (forward, reverse, random, and repeat-one), a stride length, and option to skip stages. • Chord utility now includes probability or algorithmic options for each voice in the chord. • Auto-assignment options for velocities and note lengths for all sequencers, as well as Weight’s probabilities. • Sequencers can now move forward every N MIDI notes, rather than every single MIDI note. • Built-in sound engine and standalone usage now supported. • Updated preset system. Improvements: • Sequencer stage sliders now show a horizontal line when sliding, for easily lining one stage up with others. • Added visual cues (altered background) when editing a sequencer vs. viewing it on the home page. • When creating a sequencer, its speed is copied from the sequencer before it in the chain, for convenience. • Fixed some issues with calculating intervals/chords. • Controls under parameter control now use the same scaling as their UI knobs (e.g., sequence free timing). • Presets now load without pausing the sequence. • More bars can be rendered and exported as .mid files. • Lots of visual touchups. Bug fixes: • Fixed high CPU usage when assigning parameter control. • Fixed some menus being unresponsive with mouse or Apple Pencil. • Addressed some crashes when changing a sequencer while running. • Fixed scale dropdown selector not always working. • Play/pause/stop buttons properly update when under MIDI control. • Custom scales use proper root note now. • Fixed rare issues with second notes in the sequence getting dropped. • Fixed issues with parameter assignments when adding or deleting sequencers. • Fixed some issues with save state. • Lots more stabilities and efficiency improvements.
