This update is about reading the road in direct sunlight, and tighter routing tools. • High Contrast for Sunlight Mode. New sub-toggle in Settings that flips the whole app to a white, e-reader-style monochrome look: basemap, route line, panels, and sheets all go grayscale for direct-sunlight readability. Your Apple Watch mirrors it. The green Start button and red speed-limit alerts deliberately stay coloured. • Prefer Ferries. New routing toggle under Navigation Settings, Roads & surfaces. Routes will take a ferry when it's a real alternative to a long road detour. • Route Width slider. Tune the route line thickness from 4 to 16 pt under Map Display. • Navigation Settings reorganised into six clear sub-groups: Vehicle, Route preferences, Roads & surfaces, Speed & warnings, Voice guidance, Advanced. Parking moved to its own row next to Saved Destinations. • Favourites fix. Tapping a saved destination now starts a clean route every time. No stale pins from the previous one. • Polish. Bigger ETA, Distance, and Speed numbers in the driving panel. Splash screen text holds steady when GPS arrives. Landscape tiles cleared from the home indicator.
