NEW: Translated photo overlays. Snap a menu, sign, or document and TranslateIt now draws the translation right onto the image — every text region replaced in place. Tap for a fullscreen pinch-zoom view to inspect the details. NEW: Mixed-script photos. A Japanese sign with English captions, a French menu with German prose — every recognized region gets translated into your Default language in one tap, on Cloud or Local mode. NEW: Explicit source-language picker in Local mode. Tell the Translate tab "this image is in English" and it skips auto-detection entirely — no more surprise prompts to download a pack you didn't ask for. NEW: "Download Pack" dialog when an offline pack isn't installed yet. Two clear buttons: Download (continues in the background, manage in Profile → Offline Languages) or Switch to Cloud. Audio tab Local mode: once you've picked the Other language, only your Default ⇄ Other pair is translated. Stray speech in a third language is rejected with a clear message instead of being silently mistranslated. Audio tab Cloud mode: always translates into your Default language, whichever language the speaker used. (Bidirectional conversation lives on the Conversation tab.) Friendlier trial / subscription experience. For short period, past the 7-day trial, the app keeps working — a banner suggests subscribing instead of blocking your translation mid-task. Tap Subscribe to upgrade, Dismiss to keep going. Language picker reordered so the most-used languages (English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Portuguese, Italian) appear first across the Audio, Conversation, Translate, and Profile screens. Translation prompt now multi-language aware. Even when the input mixes scripts, the backend translates every language present into your Default — not just the dominant one. Overlap-aware text rendering in the photo overlay so neighbouring blocks shrink symmetrically instead of overpainting each other.

(1)Clearer trial / subscription messaging — when cloud features are gated, the app now tells you exactly what's happening and points to free Local/Offline mode as an alternative. (2)Audio tab error feedback — transcription and translation failures now show a banner above the session log instead of silently swallowing the issue. (3) Subscription page improvements — if your Apple ID's subscription belongs to a different in-app account, you'll see a clear explanation instead of an empty screen, and you can choose how to proceed.
