The Matchmaker Update allows players to make themselves available to receive invitations to multiplayer matches from anyone, any time they are on-line in the game. Only players who have set themselves to "allow invitations from strangers" can receive these invitations so if you would prefer to never be invited into a match with a player who is not on your friends list, simply don't enable this setting. There were also some minor bug fixes included in this release.
