Super J8 Synth + AUv3

Quick fixes for Koala, and more! Includes everything in prev update: MASSIVE UPDATE! This is one of our biggest updates yet. SUPER J8 is expanding to Mac, adding major accessibility and microtonality features, new Chorus, preset syncing, and a whole lot more. • NEW NATIVE MAC VERSION! SUPER J8 is now available on Mac, with native support for both Apple Silicon AND Intel Macs, plus AUv3. The app has been tested in Mac on Ableton, GarageBand, and Logic so far. This is our first Mac app, so please be patient with us as we work through any early issues. If you find a bug, we'd genuinely love to hear about it: [email protected] • ACCESSIBILITY! Major accessibility improvements & Voice Over have been added throughout the app to make SUPER J8 a much more enjoyable instrument for blind and visually impaired musicians. This is an area we care deeply about, and we'll continue improving it. • MICROTONALITY! SUPER J8 now has full microtonal support • Import Scala tuning files • Explore World Scales with keylock • Western scales (ie Ab Minor, G# Blues) • Create music far beyond standard 12 tone tuning • Use alternate tunings across iPhone, iPad, and Mac • PRESET SYNC! Your presets can now automatically sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Create a sound on one device and continue working with it on another. Turn on Preset Sync in the Settings panel by tapping the [i] button. NEW J60 CHORUS! A new lush and beautiful chorus option has been added. Tap the Chorus header to switch between chorus types. NEW iPAD + MAC NAVIGATION A new middle navigation menu makes it much faster to jump between bottom panels on larger screens. Prefer the original layout? You can turn the new navigation menu off in Options. iPHONE + iPAD IMPROVEMENTS • Automation now records correctly in GarageBand and similar AUv3 hosts • Ableton Link upgraded to the latest version Additional fixes, polish, and improvements throughout Thank you for making music with SUPER J8 and helping us make it better.

THANKS EVERYONE! This app will just get Better & Better! • FIXED: Long glide/portamento now returns smoothly from the current pitch position when releasing a held note, instead of jumping to the target note first. The other AudioKit synths will also get this fix. Thanks! • IMPROVED: Mono mode behavior has been refined. Mono Legato now more strictly cuts off lingering release tails after keys are released, for a more traditional mono synth response. Mono non-legato still keeps the musical analog-style response where released notes can naturally ring out, useful for Juno-style arp tails and long releases. • UPGRADED: More precise LFOs • NEW: PROGRAM CHANGE MIDI MAPPING You can now use a custom MIDI CC to change presets. Go to the About Page [i], tap “MIDI Mapping,” then “Add/Edit Mapping.” Choose “Program Change,” then enter the CC you want to use. • FIXED: Less stuck notes. If you're still getting stuck notes please feel free to email me directly [email protected] with as many details as possible so we can get this fixed for you MORE UPDATES COMING: Yes, Microtonality, World Scales, better filter key-tracking and more are coming!

THANKS EVERYONE! • NEW Enhanced Filter Keytracking Range • NEW FREE Preset bank by Seljoy Productions MORE UPDATES & FREE PRESETS Coming!
