Rockets All 30 rockets now have distinct, real-world-inspired designs (Falcon 9, Saturn V, Starship, Soyuz, Space Shuttle, N1, and 24 more) instead of one shared shape Multi-stage booster separation — rockets with strap-on boosters (Falcon Heavy, Delta IV Heavy, SLS, etc.) now jettison them mid-flight after a sustained burn Flight Feel Real momentum physics — thrust and gravity now accelerate your velocity instead of directly setting your speed each frame; you have to actually manage deceleration to land safely, not just point-and-coast Ground-to-space liftoff cinematic — every launch now lifts off from a pad, climbs through a sky-to-space color transition, then hands off to normal flight (skippable) Hyperspace warp-jump — switching star systems now triggers a streaking-stars, screen-flash transition instead of an instant teleport (skippable) 3 difficulty levels (Beginner/Intermediate/Hard) — actually retune steering response, gravity strength, fuel burn, landing tolerance, and hazard intensity, not just cosmetic labels New Content Environmental hazards: asteroid fields, solar flares, and atmospheric turbulence on select planets, with bonus credit rewards Mission/challenge mode — ~21 auto-generated timed and fuel-budget objectives across all 11 galaxies Docking mini-game — one space station per galaxy, zero-gravity precision docking with stricter speed tolerances than planetary landing Progression Persistent save system — credits, achievements, rockets tried, and progress now survive app restarts (previously reset every launch) Cosmetic shop — 8 decal colors + 6 flame colors, purchasable with in-game credits Game Center leaderboards — credits earned, planets landed, fastest landing, missions completed 2 new achievements (Fleet Commander, Docking Expert) Audio Fully custom synthesized sound effects (looping thrust rumble, landing chime, crash burst, booster separation clunk) replacing generic system sounds Fixed a bug where the audio session category was silencing all sound whenever the device's mute switch was on Bug Fixes Fixed the liftoff cinematic not showing (star system wasn't being explicitly hidden during the sequence)

What's new in AstroFlight Galaxies expanded — 12 star systems to explore Beyond our home Sol System, AstroFlight now includes 11 entirely new fictional star systems to discover: Nova Cluster, Ember Reach, Verdant Expanse, Voidreach, Prism Belt, Stormwake, Goldmere Cluster, Frostmarch, Abyss Reach, Solanis Drift, and Ironfall Cluster. Each system has its own star color, atmosphere, and 3 to 8 uniquely named planets — over 50 worlds in total, each with its own size, gravity, orbit, and fun fact. Switch between systems anytime using the new star-system picker in the top bar. 30 rockets, all unlocked from day one The rocket roster grew from 3 to 30, spanning a wide range of thrust, fuel capacity, and handling characteristics — from balanced starters to lightweight speedsters to heavy long-haul cruisers. Every rocket is available immediately, no grinding or credits required, so you can experiment with different flight styles right away. Expanded achievements New milestones track your progress across the bigger galaxy: Frequent Flyer (5 planets), Seasoned Explorer (15 planets), Galaxy Hopper (visit every star system), Fleet Commander (try 10 different rockets), and the ultimate Galaxy Master (land on every planet across every system). Welcome guide and in-game help A friendly onboarding walkthrough now introduces galaxy-hopping alongside the original flight basics, and can be revisited anytime from the Hangar's "How to Play" button. Hangar overhaul The Hangar now shows your full rocket fleet with descriptions for each, a Star Systems section with per-system exploration progress, and updated progress tracking across planets, systems, and rockets tried.
