Elevation profiles are more accurate and detailed, and ride recording now holds steadier distance and speed when you stop or pause. Adding photos to a ride is more reliable, along with the usual performance improvements and bug fixes.

With this release, we've added a new Wildfire layer for the US and Canada, showing current and historical fire perimeters to help you plan and navigate safely. We've also added surface types to Explore, made photos easier to view full screen, sped up route loading times, and fixed a bunch of bugs to keep your rides going smoothly.

Photos now upload in the background, so you can keep using the app instead of waiting on the sync screen. We've also added a chime before spoken waypoint alerts during navigation, activity-type suggestions when saving new routes, and activity badges on routes throughout the app. As usual, we've also fixed a few bugs.
