About
Stop turning easy runs into hard runs. You head out for an easy Zone 2 run. Ten minutes in, you've drifted into Zone 3. Twenty minutes in, you're basically running a tempo — and you finish tired instead of fresh, with none of the aerobic base you set out to build. Rate Guard is the tap on the wrist that catches it the moment it starts. Set your target heart-rate range, start your workou…

What's New in 1.0.2 Tap to switch metrics: Tap the big number during a workout to cycle between heart rate, distance, and time. It snaps back to heart rate after a few seconds. Mile milestones: A distinct wrist tap and a quick banner ("Mile 3 - 24:30") every mile, so you can track pace without looking. Color-vision themes: Five zone color palettes (Standard, Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia, Grayscale), plus an always-on zone arrow so your zone reads at a glance without relying on color. Routes keep recording: Outdoor GPS route capture now continues when your wrist drops or the screen sleeps. Refinements: The heart-rate number stays big and readable, with distance and time sized independently. Zone alerts no longer fire on the workout summary screen.

This update makes pausing work the way it should. • Pausing a workout now fully pauses it — the timer stops, and paused time no longer counts toward your duration or time in zone. • Heart-rate alerts and haptics stay quiet while you're paused, then pick right back up the moment you resume. • More accurate max heart rate and time in zone, since readings recorded while paused are no longer counted. • More reliable route saving, and better handling when a workout is recovered after an interruption. Thanks for training with Rate Guard.
