4 updates tracked- v1.3.27d ago
Better compatibility with electronic passports. - Added support for passports that use PACE with Triple DES authentication. - Fixes passports that could not be read at all because the chip offers only this method.
- v1.3.18d ago
Better compatibility with electronic passports. - Added support for passports that use PACE with AES-128 authentication. - Improved NFC authentication diagnostics and stability.
- v1.311d ago
New languages, better document compatibility, and faster, more reliable scanning. - Now available in Norwegian, Turkish, Hebrew, and Hindi. - Reads even more passports and eID cards — added support for more national chips, and now recovers gracefully when the chip briefly loses contact mid-scan instead of failing the whole read. - Faster NFC reads — skips biometric files the app can never open. - More accurate authenticity checks — an interrupted read no longer flags a genuine document. - Clearer guidance when the entered CAN or passport number doesn't match the chip. - Tap your passport photo to zoom, pan, and share it. - Smoother wallet-card animations and a range of stability fixes.
- v1.23mo ago
Better passport compatibility and partial-scan handling. - Reads more passports — Taiwan, AES-128 chips, non-brainpoolP256 curves, passports with short document numbers, Belgian/French BCD dates, US passports with non-standard SOD encoding. - Tries the modern PACE-MRZ protocol first and falls back to BAC automatically. - When the chip moves away mid-scan, the app now keeps what it managed to read and shows a "Partial scan" banner explaining what's missing instead of saving silently. - Failed scans now show a clear error and a reference code you can share with us — we get the full diagnostic trace on the back end. - The NFC sheet dismisses immediately on errors instead of hanging until iOS times out.
