Bug fixes and improvements.

Our biggest update yet. Camp is your new home screen. Your chosen hero waits by the fire, with adventures, the arena, the merchant and expeditions one tap away. Expeditions: send a hero out on a timed journey and claim gold, XP and gear when they return, along with a short tale of what happened on the road. It costs no energy, so it keeps paying while yours refills. The arena has been rebuilt: new combat effects, a clearer hand and battlefield, a redesigned deck preview and a gallery of every card you have seen. Adventures: browse by genre with the new medallions, or search the whole catalog by name, world or genre. Hero creation: choose your race and class from illustrated cards instead of guessing what to type, or tap "Custom" and write your own. Eight new heroes to start with, including a dragonkin knight, a rune warden, a dawn cleric and a gnome alchemist. Also: a new welcome and sign-in, a redesigned daily rewards drawer, and fixes for purchases after signing in and for energy packs that charged but showed an error.

New: the Story Journal. Your adventure now keeps a journal of the story so far, the characters you have met and your open quests, written automatically as you play so the narrator remembers earlier chapters. Find it under "Journal" in the in-game menu and tap "Edit" to fix anything it got wrong.

Read it your way, or have it read to you. • Reading: choose from ten typefaces and four text sizes in the play menu. • Read Aloud: a natural narrator voice reads the story as it unfolds. Seven voices, running privately on your iPhone after a one-time download. • Bug fixes and polish.

Know what you're fighting. • Arena inspect: tap your hero or the monster to see every buff, Power, boon and enemy ability, with a plain line on what each one actually does. • Monster abilities are named up front, so nothing hits you out of nowhere. • No more vanishing effects when the buffs pile up. • Found something too heavy? The drop now shows what won't fit and lets you make room on the spot instead of walking away from it. • Your hero's level-up points now count toward how much they can carry. • Subscribers can see the exact date their next energy drop lands. • Plus renewal energy now arrives on your billing day, and long stories keep saving cleanly.
