This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. Besides compatibility with the iPhone X, this new version of iBird Hawaii and Palau has updated the following illustrations: Band-rumped Storm-Petrel, Glaucous Gull, Glaucous-winged Gull, Killdeer and Long-billed Dowitcher. You can see these in a matched list by selecting Search->Illustration Update->10.06. Also includes a new Splits-History search attribute, retina mode compatibility, 64-bit architecture update and minor bug fixes.
