Conduit 0.1.9 — What's New • Native Kanban — Manage Hermes boards and tasks directly from Conduit, including task creation and editing, filters, board management, orchestration controls, triage actions, multi-select and bulk operations, and live board updates. • Much better long-conversation performance — Large and Markdown-heavy chats now render and stream with substantially less work, reducing sluggishness, CPU usage, and UI stalls. • More reliable chat streaming and resume — Returning to Conduit no longer unnecessarily reloads active conversations. Live reasoning, background/foreground transitions, reconnects, and prompt delivery are significantly more robust. • Large-session support — Conversation history now loads in bounded pages instead of trying to load everything at once. Use Load Earlier Messages to browse deeper history without overwhelming the app. • Stable typing during active chats — Fixed an issue where background UI updates could move the cursor or scramble text while typing, especially with hardware keyboards and very long conversations. • Chat text size — Choose from five chat text sizes without changing the rest of Conduit. Your system Dynamic Type preference is still respected. • Hardware keyboard improvements — Optionally use Return to send and Shift-Return for a new line. • Read Aloud — Completed assistant responses can now be played through your configured Hermes text-to-speech provider. • Cleaner conversation history — Internal compaction records and Hermes runtime metadata are now hidden or presented as proper system events instead of appearing as user messages. • Voice improvements — Better STT provider detection, OpenAI/Nous provider handling, and more reliable transcription of longer recordings. • Profile reliability — Fixed an issue that could temporarily make Hermes profiles disappear after a connection or discovery failure. • Authentication improvements — More reliable native sign-in and Cloudflare Access/Turnstile support, including better keyboard behavior on the login screen. Plus a large collection of fixes for scrolling, session switching, reconnects, Markdown rendering, profile isolation, YOLO state, and general stability.

Kanban has landed — plus our biggest round of speed and stability upgrades yet. NEW: NATIVE KANBAN • Your Hermes boards are now fully native on iOS — create tasks with a desktop-parity composer, move cards across lanes, and open operator details and worker logs right from your phone. • Triage smarter with Specify & Decompose, orchestrator settings, and profile routing descriptions. • Manage boards on the go: create, rename, and archive boards; filter by project, assignee, tenant, or priority; and see the Running lane grouped by profile. • Bulk power tools — multi-select cards, then move, reassign, set priority, archive, or delete them in one pass with per-card results. • Live updates: boards refresh in real time as work happens on the server. No manual reloads. FASTER, SMOOTHER CHAT • Long conversations and very large messages render dramatically faster — heavy Markdown no longer stalls scrolling. • Reasoning streams display more smoothly through long turns. • Restored transcripts stay clean — internal compaction summaries are filtered out. READ-ALOUD & VOICE • Manual read-aloud no longer conflicts with an active voice conversation, and fails gracefully when voice isn't available. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • Capabilities problems now surface clearly instead of failing silently. • A unified chat viewport and smarter return-to-chat behavior. • Dozens of reliability hardening fixes across boards, cards, and background refreshes.

- v0.1.421d ago
What's new in 0.1.4 Chat improvements • Select text across formatted responses — including tables, code blocks, and lists • Chat remembers your scroll position when switching sessions or returning to the app • Tap the chat title to jump back to the top • Rename sessions manually • Composer drafts and submissions are now kept separate per session • Paste images directly — "Paste" now appears in the edit menu and works with keyboard paste tools Notifications & background • Approval and clarify cards delivered over push now appear and can be answered right from the app, even after background arrival • Pending decisions stay visible when you return to the app • Per-session auto-approve (YOLO) settings now persist across turns and gateway restarts, and are respected even when global approvals are off • Notification settings now show plugin and relay compatibility, and prompt you to update outdated notifiers • Fixed a notification loop that could repeatedly reload sessions Performance & reliability • Faster message rendering — markdown parsing, syntax highlighting, and attachment previews are now cached • Fixed a freeze when sending, hung connections after network drops, and a memory leak in dashboard web views • Fixed duplicated text when resuming a response mid-stream • Smoother, more stable behavior when rapidly switching sessions Voice & audio • Fixed on-device speech-to-text startup and provider selection errors Other • Refined haptics, including new response feedback — and the haptics toggle now stays off when you turn it off • Cloudflare Access sign-in hardening: token handling fixes and proper auth-redirect support • Dashboard web sessions are now cleared when you disconnect
