City Packs • New City Packs — photo backgrounds of real cities that follow your live weather and time of day. A scene appears automatically for the city you're viewing and steps aside when it isn't on screen. • Scenes appear the moment you open the app or switch cities, and crossfade smoothly between changes. • The background picker now leads with City Packs, and Remove All clears every download in one tap. • Don't see your city? Request a City lets you tell us where you'd like a pack next. • City scenes appear in widgets too, framed to keep skylines, monuments, and landmarks in shot. • Packs are around 7 MB per city and download over Wi-Fi by default. A cellular option lives in Settings, and Low Data Mode is always respected. Smart Weather Stories • Summaries generate noticeably faster in every style, and the Thoughtful style now produces richer, more detailed write-ups. Widgets • Current Weather: choose which data point appears under each hour — UV Index, humidity, wind, and more. • New widgets load in cleanly — a loading placeholder replaces the "Weather unavailable" flash, and a failed first fetch retries on its own.
