What’s New This update brings smarter footy, stronger career stories, and more life around your club. • Momentum now matters Matches can swing fast. Get on a roll and your team lifts. Concede quick goals and the pressure builds, with nervous hands, spilled marks, and players starting to crack. Slow it down with safe possession or take the game on when time is running out. • Your coach is in your ear A new in-match coach reads the game with you. He’ll warn when momentum is against you, call out when there’s still time to chase, and point out what the opposition is doing, whether they’re flooding back, hunting the ball, or protecting a lead. • Pause is here You can now pause and resume a live match whenever life gets in the way. • Teams play to their strengths Players now lean into their specialties. Torpedo guns launch from long range, sharpshooters back themselves, playmakers hunt the killer pass, and speedsters take the game on. Strong clubs stay composed. Weaker clubs feel slower, sloppier, and more likely to crack under pressure. • Tactics have more bite Defensive and Attacking tactics now feel properly different. Defensive teams hold shape and lock down space, while Attacking teams hunt the ball and push forward. • Your club has a voice Your President, coaches, doctor, and scout now email you as the season unfolds. Early career now builds a stronger story with player tips, recruitment teasers, medical updates, and big club decisions. • Real rivalries The Showdown, Western Derby, Q-Clash, Anzac Day, and more are now part of the season. Rivalry weeks get special pre-match billing and messages from the boss. There’s nothing sweeter than beating your enemy. • Smarter injuries and medical staff Your club doctor now helps prevent injuries in played and simmed matches. Tired players are more likely to break down, so rest and rotation matter. Pre-match medical reports flag risky players, injury updates are clearer, and Iron Man players are now genuinely tougher. • Free starter staff Every new career now begins with a free coach and club doctor. Upgrade to specialists when you’re ready. • Career fixes and polish Player development now works more reliably across a career, scout reports better separate current ability from future potential, and team selection now stays put between matches. Smarter contests — no more whole-team swarming the ball; the right players (key talls, ruck, spoilers) still show up. • Stability improvements

Grand Final fixes & polish - Fixed a bug where winning the Grand Final could get stuck after the celebration — you'll now move smoothly to the post-match wrap-up every time. - Win or lose the big one, the club President now drops a message in your Inbox — a premiership celebration, or a few words of encouragement for next year. - Premierships won via Sim are now correctly recorded in your history. Thanks for playing Footy Mayhem — good luck on the run to the flag!

This update is all about feel, flow, and smarter footy. • Rebuilt goal kicking Goal kicking now rewards your timing properly. Stop the meter in the green and it’s a goal. Mistimed kicks now miss in a way that makes sense: early releases drift left, overcooked kicks sail right, and star kickers get a bigger sweet spot. • More reliable passing Aim at a teammate and the ball now goes where you expect. Player skill affects how cleanly the ball arrives, making elite ball-users more valuable. • Sharper sprint bursts Sprint now gives players a real getaway burst, complete with speed trails. Defenders can explode into chase mode too. • Bigger tackles Tackles now feel heavier and more responsive, with improved ball spills, impact sounds, haptics, hit-stop, and stronger collision feel. Slippery stars can still break the odd tackle. • Smarter tactics All five tactics now have a clearer identity: Boundary drags play wide and goes long down the line. Fast Break surges forward after turnovers. Attacking pushes through the corridor with numbers ahead. Defensive floods back and protects dangerous space. Balanced holds shape and picks the right moments. • Better AI ball use Players now read the field before disposing of the ball, choosing corridor options, wing exits, leading targets, or long contests depending on what opens up. • Adaptive CPU coaching Opposition teams now adjust tactics during matches based on the scoreboard, clock, momentum, weather, and team strengths. • Career and season improvements Sponsor deals now stick and pay out correctly. Low-rated players are priced more fairly on the transfer market. Players can now be renamed. Recent form now appears on match previews. Club news has been improved for finals, premiers, and trade-period stories. The off-season is smoother, with contracts, signings, sponsors, and list needs easier to manage. • Ladder fixes Fixed ladder re-sorting during finals. Fixed season-stats ladder refresh issues between rounds. • More gameplay polish Goal kicking is now better calibrated to the real goal width. Goals are now more consistent at both ends of the ground. Free kicks no longer boot the ball from a downed player. Tactical pop-ups and juice banners now only appear during live play. Grapples, speccies, and close contests now feel tighter and more cinematic. Torpedo kicks now launch quicker, bigger bombs. New and refreshed trait moments have been added, including Playmaker, Crumber, Torpedo Kick, and Sharpshooter. Jump in and feel the difference.
