FootLord 2.2 — Phase 2: Landscape Mode Play FootLord in landscape for the first time, with every screen rebuilt for horizontal. Wider tables, bigger match views and more room on screen, with full notch and safe-area support.

    - Superleague Mode: a massive new career format that stacks dozens of divisions into a single pyramid. Climb from the bottom tiers all the way to the top, and chase a tiered cup system built for the scale: the Diamond, Gold, Silver and Bronze cups, each grouping a band of divisions so every club has silverware to fight for. The cup rounds are played home and away and decided on aggregate score, just like the continental competitions. - Difficulty selection: you can now choose how hard your career is, and the setting shapes the whole experience rather than just match results. It affects how strong and aggressive the AI clubs are, how competitive the transfer market is against you, how much financial breathing room you get, and how demanding the board and your objectives are. Pick a relaxed climb to learn the ropes, or crank it up for a real test where every signing and result counts. - Random career names: let the game generate random names for your manager and your career, perfect for a fresh start or a quick roll-the-dice run without spending time on setup. - Accessibility: following your feedback, we fixed several usability problems that made the game harder to navigate with assistive tech. - Performance: we audited the heaviest moments in the game, especially season transitions and career rollovers, and reworked how data is loaded to cut memory spikes. The result is smoother transitions, lower memory usage, and far fewer freezes on long careers.

    • Major fix: individual player awards and trophies could be lost when advancing to a new season. Player of the season, top scorer, MVP and every individual honour now persist correctly across seasons, saves and reloads. • Fixed several background-thread crashes for greater stability when simulating days and matches. • Fixed a sending-off issue: a sent-off goalkeeper is now properly replaced, and suspended players are correctly handled in the lineup. • Many other minor fixes and improvements for a smoother, more reliable experience.

What's new in 2.1.2: • New World Cup settings: optional player aging between editions (with ratings updated), random or fixed group draw, and choice of edition frequency (every 1, 2 or 4 years) • World Cup: stats, your group setup and squad call-ups are now preserved across consecutive editions • Fixed several crashes that could happen when closing the app • Faster exit from the match screen • Smoother scrolling on the staff search screen • Simulation now auto-pauses on the last day of the transfer window so you can finalise pending deals • Added a Wins/Draws/Losses box on the manager screen • More realistic draws in national and international cups • Youth players now develop during quick sim too • Fixed leagues set to 3 or 4 round-robin rotations (only home and away was running) • Fixed prize messages for multi-group cups • Fixed inconsistent player value display caused by rounding • Loan buy-back fee now matches the amount you agreed during negotiation • Loaned-in players no longer show the actions menu • Fixed players whose first name contained their surname (applied to new careers)

FootLord 2.1 — World Cup Mode The big new feature in this update is the World Cup Mode: pick one of the 48 qualified nations, manage your call-ups, set the lineup and tactics, and lead your team through the group stage and knockout rounds. You can play unlimited editions, each with full historic stats and awards. Improvements and fixes: - In-match accessibility: screen readers now interact correctly with on-pitch elements. - Android stability: reduced log caching that was overloading the system and causing lag and crashes. - Ads: interstitial ads now work as intended. - In-app purchases: fixed a sync bug where purchases and subscriptions weren't recognised correctly. - SQLite for config files: replaced the previous FileAccess-based config storage, which was unreliable on a large share of Android devices. - Contracts: fixed the contract expiry bug. - Free agents: list is now realistic, no more top players sitting unsigned and making the game trivial. - Economy: bigger competition prizes plus a yearly balancing pass keeps squads from drifting over time. - Player development: retuned in both normal and quick sim for a more competitive simulation. - Manual subs: subbed or sent-off players no longer keep playing (no more goals from "ghosts" on the pitch). - Loans: stats for loaned-in players you put on the pitch are now tracked correctly. - Transfers: more realistic asking prices from other clubs. - Cup finals: now played at neutral venues. - Penalties: fixed the bug that exited the shootout early when pausing. - Filters: refactored so every filter screen pulls from the same helper. - Standings, player lists, rankings and stats: cleaner, more consistent headers across screens. - Salaries: fixed the long-term drift, now recalculated every season and updated after every deal.
