Flavortown

Version 6.8.0 refreshes Flavortown with 1,642 restaurants, 7 new locations, updated restaurant statuses, and 13 new featured videos. The bundled database is also 34% smaller for faster loading and a lighter download.

What's New in 6.7.0 NEW • Videos tab now sorted by newly found videos at the top every time you open it. • 17 new featured videos added, including Bob's Taco Station (TX), South 21 Drive-In (NC), Boneyard Bistro (CA), Angkor Chef (CA), Villa Zuccaro (ME), and two Alberta, Canada locations. • 4 new restaurants: StreetZlan Restaurant (CA), Fratelli Briganti (FL), Trattoria Garga (FL), and Il Gusta Pizza (FL). • Restaurant database refreshed to 1,635 total locations — 1,286 open & 349 closed — 441 now have featured videos. IMPROVEMENTS • Cleaner videos search: match by restaurant name, state, or video title. Country is no longer matched, so searching "USA" won't return the entire list. • Multi-word searches (like "arizona burger") now require every word to appear, so results are far more precise. • Polish on the videos search field — updated placeholder copy and accurate VoiceOver hints. BUG FIXES • Rotating your device no longer breaks the inline YouTube player — the video reloads correctly. • Map video sheets are stable when opened from a pin callout, and present full screen on iPad so the entire restaurant detail is visible. • Tab selection is preserved when rotating between portrait and landscape on iPhone — you stay on the screen you were viewing. • The Nearby tab now correctly shows video indicators for restaurants in your area. • Removed an incorrect featured video link from one restaurant's data.
