New algorithm: ACT-R (Adaptive Control of Thought-Rational) is now available – a cognitively grounded model from AI research that schedules reviews based on your personal memory patterns using the power law of forgetting. FlashCards now offers eight different spaced repetition algorithms, more than any other app. Also new: attach any file to your cards – not just images and audio, but any document or file that belongs with your study material. The built-in card box catalog has been expanded with new ready-made sets including Flags of the World and English/Japanese. A new iCloud reset button in settings helps resolve sync issues. Numerous stability improvements and bug fixes complete this update.
