Fishbuddy: Fishing Spot Finder

We spent a little more time untangling a couple of fishing lines… * The verification email for new accounts is now behaving much better. * You can now hide sea fishing spot icons in Settings if you prefer a cleaner map. Nothing too flashy this time—just a few improvements to make your fishing trips a little smoother. The fish probably won’t notice, but we hope you will!

Summer is calling, but we couldn’t leave without one last fishing trip… for bugs. We caught a few stubborn ones that were hiding in the app and sent them on vacation before us. No big new features this time—just a smoother Fishbuddy, ready to join you on your summer fishing adventures. Tight lines, and have an amazing summer!

We went bug fishing and came back with a full catch! A few pesky bugs were hiding in the app like cautious fish under a dock, but we’ve reeled them in and released them far away from Fishbuddy. No major new features this time—just a smoother, faster, and friendlier app. Kind of like a perfect fishing trip without the mosquitoes.

Your waypoints just got a makeover! Last update, we gave them cool icons. This update, we’ve added colors too! Choose from a full color palette and mix colors and icons however you like. Red skull for dangerous areas? Green fishing hook for your favorite spot? Blue wave pin for offshore fishing? The choice is yours! Your map has never been more personal—or more colorful. We can’t promise you’ll catch more fish, but your waypoints will definitely look cooler than your fishing buddy’s.

Goodbye boring pins! We’ve given waypoints a serious makeover. You can now choose from 29 different icons that actually tell you what’s at each location. Dangerous area? Skull icon. Great fishing spot? Fishing hook. Lost some gear? There’s an icon for that too. And for offshore fishing spots, we’ve added a brand-new pin with a wave symbol. In short: your map now looks less like a spreadsheet and more like a treasure map for anglers. Arrr!
