Thank you for using the eBike Flow app! In this version, we have only fixed minor bugs and made a few improvements. We hope you continue to enjoy your eBike.

Your setup. Your boost. Use the crucial boost to overcome roots or steps on the trail with ease. Now you can tailor the Extended Boost in the eBike Flow app to fit your riding style. This lets you use Extended Boost flexibly across all riding modes and with different Drive Units.* The motor boosts for up to two meters. The powerful, perfectly timed impulse helps you clear rocks, steps, or roots with ease. With a new slider in the eBike Flow app, you can adjust the boost duration for each riding mode individually. The scale goes from zero (disabled) to ten for a maximum boost of up to two meters.* Find this setting in the menu under "custom riding modes > Extended Boost". Whether you're on your eMTB trail or riding your cargo eBike over a curb, the extra boost gives you more reliability with different drive units and riding modes. Situation. Impulse. Propulsion. With more direct traction when you start pedaling, your drive unit responds instantly and gives you full control — as if your eBike were glued to your foot. Available for the Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y) and Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) in Race, eMTB, and eMTB+ riding modes. A software optimization allows us to pre-tension the drivetrain and prevents the motor and rear wheel from freewheeling in technical riding situations. This reduces the free travel on the pedal and the delay when pedaling, allowing the motor to convert your power directly into precise propulsion. The Drivetrain Tensioner is already active for you by default. With a future update to the eBike Flow app, you'll be able to turn the feature on or off. Quick Help. Instantly in the app. The new, AI-powered eBike Assistant in the eBike Flow app answers your questions about Bosch components and features, ensuring you get the right help quickly and easily. The eBike Assistant responds to your questions in dialogue, using content from our Help Center, website, and user manuals. The service starts in a beta phase, where we want to test it with you and keep improving. If an answer isn't quite right, you'll find reliable information in the manual—or you can ask us your question directly via our contact form. Faster in the right gear Enjoy an even faster response from your eBike. When your speed changes suddenly, you're instantly in the right gear, allowing you to keep your rhythm. With automatic transmissions, eShift delivers smoother shifts across multiple gears. With hub gears from Rohloff (Rohloff E-14) and Shimano (Shimano NEXUS Di2), you can switch gears even faster and more responsively, as eShift skips several gears at once. *Customization available in every riding mode and for the following drive units of the smart system: Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition (BDU376Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y), Performance Line CX (BDU374Y), Performance Line SX (BDU314Y), Performance Line Sprint (BDU314Y), Cargo Line (BDU384Y), Cargo Line (BDU374Y). The Extended Boost is not available in the Limit mode.

Performance redefined The performance upgrade 2.0 enables maximum torque of up to 120 Nm and maximum motor support of 600% up to 20 mph via a free software update. Software optimizations give you more powerful propulsion and allow you to use maximum power for longer.(1-5) The maximum values available for your eBike depend on your drive unit and the approval of your eBike manufacturer. Your achievements in detail The annual overview in the Flow+ subscription is being expanded. You can now also analyze elevation, speed, power, cadence, riding mode usage, power share, and Trick Check data. (1) 120 newton meters of maximum torque, deviations possible depending on shifting system. Higher performance values also mean higher wear and lower range – we leave this individual decision up to you. The eBike manufacturer can limit the maximum torque in the factory settings. In the eBike Flow app, you can then only set the maximum torque defined by the manufacturer. Available from May 4, 2026 for the Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) and Cargo Line (BDU384Y). The Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y) is still supplied with the performance values 100 Nm, 750 watts, and 400% support as standard. The Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) comes with the performance values 85 Nm, 600 watts, and 340% support as standard. The Cargo Line (BDU384Y) is still supplied with the performance values 85 Nm, 600 watts, and 400% support as standard. These values represent the ideal balance between performance and riding fun in relation to wear and range. (2) Up to 600% support only up to 20 mph. Available from May 4, 2026 in the Race, Turbo, eMTB+, Cargo, and Auto riding modes for selected drive units of the smart system: Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition (BDU376Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y), Performance Line CX (BDU374Y), Cargo Line (BDU384Y), Cargo Line (BDU374Y), Performance Line PX (BDU347Y); only in the USA and New Zealand: Performance Line Speed (BDU388Y) and Performance Line Sport (BDU347Y). Details on the compatibility of your eBike can be found in the eBike Flow app. The drive units are supplied with max. 340% or 400% support as standard (depending on the drive unit). These values represent the ideal balance between performance and riding fun in relation to wear and range.
