EasyScan: PDF Scanner & OCR

Fixed a problem with automatic capture. If AutoShot caught your document the instant the camera opened, the scan worked but an error message could still appear. That false alarm is gone.

This update is built on a rebuilt scanning engine. Text recognition (OCR) - Recognize text in your scans on the device, edit the results, and choose the recognition language. - Save scans as searchable PDFs — the recognized text is embedded, so you can search and copy it. Automatic page orientation - Content-aware orientation detection turns each page upright from its own text, and works offline with no download. Smaller, sharper PDFs - A new PDF engine makes color and grayscale files up to 90% smaller, with compression levels from Lossless to Extreme. - Black-and-white pages stay lossless, so the text stays crisp at any setting. Capture and editing - The camera now finds the document and captures automatically when the image is steady. - Adjust the page edges and fix the crop with a tap, with color, grayscale, and black-and-white output. Now in more languages - EasyScan now speaks German, Spanish, French, Italian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. iPad refinements - The shutter responds right away, even with live edge detection turned on. - The torch button now matches whether the light is actually on. - Scanning runs cooler and uses less battery on large iPads. The minimum supported iOS version is now 16.3.
