Dwell: Audio Bible

This update makes a few everyday Dwell features easier and faster to use. # Sleep Timer and Playback Speed – Sleep Timer and Playback Speed are now available directly from the audio player, so you can adjust them with a single tap. – Also you can now set the Sleep Timer to stop automatically at the end of a chapter, book, or experience. # Faster Downloads – We’ve made significant improvements to download speeds, so saving Scripture for offline listening should feel noticeably faster. # Better access in Read Along – Based on your feedback, the menu bar now stays visible while using Read Along, giving you quick access to Selah, Repeat, and other playback controls. Thanks, as always, for your feedback and support. We’ve got even more improvements on the way!

#Dwell's Background Music, Available to Stream Soon One of our most-requested features is arriving soon. In the coming days, you’ll be able to enjoy Dwell’s background music on its own—no Scripture reading required. With more than 8 albums of music, plus immersive soundscapes, and nature sounds, Dwell will be ready for your next study session, workday, workout, or quiet moment. Keep an eye out. We’ll be turning it on soon. And here’s a little secret…
This is only the beginning. We’re already working on even more music—both new background tracks for your Scripture listening and albums designed to be enjoyed on their own. Also in this update: – New Play All and Download All buttons in Up Next on the Home screen. – Queue repeat mode is now labeled “Queue” in the player. – Large content cards now support horizontal swiping on app pages. – Added a Show Queue action to the player’s ••• menu. – After adding something to your queue, you can now tap View in the confirmation message to jump straight to it. – Improved accessibility for the Queue, Track Picker, and Scripture Picker. As always, we hope this release is a blessing to you and your spiritual journey. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

# By Popular Request: Selah Need a moment to pause and reflect while listening to Scripture? Tap the new Selah button on the player to pause the narration while your background music continues, creating a natural space to reflect, pray, or simply be still—without breaking the moment. # Repeat to Memorize We’ve added the Repeat button directly to the player, so you can loop any passage with a single tap and let God’s Word sink in. # Sort Your Playlists You can now sort your custom playlists by Recently Created, Recently Updated, or Title, giving you even more ways to organize and personalize your listening experience. Thank You As always, thank you for your support. Our mission is to help make God’s Word the soundtrack of your life. We pray that Selah creates more space to reflect on His Word, and that Repeat helps you listen again and again until Scripture takes root in your heart. More to come!

# Manually Reorder Items in Up Next You now have complete control over your items in Up Next. Tapping the ellipsis icon on the home screen will allow you to reorder. Simply drag and drop plans, devotionals, and other content into the order you’d like to experience them. It’s the easiest way to tailor Dwell to your daily rhythm. We hope you enjoy this update to one of our core features. We can't wait to show you what we're working on next.
