This release makes it easier than ever to discover new drone spots, check flight conditions, use essential flight tools, and organise your favourite places — all wrapped in a refreshed, smoother design. Finding great places to fly is now faster and simpler. Explore and search for drone spots directly from the home screen, and instantly see a quick weather indicator to help you decide whether it’s safe to fly nearby. Flight Tools have also been redesigned to put the information you need right at your fingertips. Check airspace restrictions for your current location or anywhere in the world, then view detailed flying conditions including wind, gusts, rain, visibility, humidity, cloud base, GPS signal, and a clear safe-to-fly indicator. This update also introduces Profiles. Personalise your presence in the Drone Map community with a callsign, bio, and profile photo. You can now add multiple drones to your setup, log flights and flight paths, and keep your spots organised in one easy place. Alongside these new features, we’ve made major improvements across the app, including faster loading, bug fixes, and a cleaner, more intuitive interface.
