When you mark a wine consumed, CellarLog now remembers the day — and wears it right on the bottle, so the badge reads "Consumed 3/12/26" at a glance instead of a bare "Consumed." Opened it last weekend but only logging it now? Open the bottle's details and set the date by hand; the record follows your memory, not the clock. Your vintages, counted honestly. The By Vintage view is now a true histogram — one upright bar per year, because a vintage is a single year, not a smooth slope between them. Tap any bar to see the wines behind it, and a cellar that spans decades scrolls along year by year. A tip of the glass to the collector who nudged us toward the more honest picture. Pour at peak.

Freshly Uncorked v1.40 Grand Cru gets its due, and your cellar reveals its vintages. Classification, on the label and in the app. Great wines carry more than a price — they carry a rank. There's now a dedicated Classification field for exactly that: Grand Cru, Premier Cru, 2ème Cru Classé, Cru Bourgeois, Gran Selezione, and their cousins from every region, with type-ahead as you go. It's separate from Quality on purpose — one is a price tier, the other is a château's standing — and our AI fills it in when it recognizes a classified wine. It rides along in CSV export and import too. Two ways to read your drinking windows. The Peak Drinking Window chart now has a toggle. Stay on Peak to see when your cellar comes into its own, or switch to Vintage to see the spread of years you've collected — a bottle-by-bottle histogram of your cellar's history. Tap any year in either view to see the wines behind it. A safety net that minds itself. Turn on Auto-Backup and CellarLog quietly tucks a full backup — photos and all — into your own CellarLog iCloud folder whenever you add wines, keeping the two most recent. Your manual backups work exactly as before; this just adds a hands-off copy you'll be glad is there the day you need it. Pour at peak.

Freshly Uncorked v1.39 Every bottle stands and counts itself. Wines in your cellar list have always worn a small count — ×6, ×2 — except, oddly, when only one bottle remained, which showed nothing at all. That silence was ambiguous: one left, or no data? Now every wine in your inventory carries its count, ×1 included, down to the final bottle — and once that one's been enjoyed, the tick takes over as always. A tiny thing, spotted by a sharp-eyed collector, and exactly right. Pour at peak.

Freshly Uncorked v1.35 The spreadsheet speaks fluent wine now. If your cellar notes commute between CellarLog and Excel, this round's for you. Unrated tasting notes now travel as a plain 0/5 — no more cryptic "â€"" symbols when Excel opens your export — and Château finally arrives with its hat on. Coming back the other way, the rating column forgives whatever you type: 0/5, 0.0/5.0, a lone slash, or nothing at all — every one reads cleanly as unrated instead of leaking into your note text. A date that doesn't exist, called out by name. Type February 30th into a tasting note (easier than it sounds) and the import preview now flags the invalid date and tells you where that line ended up, instead of quietly folding it into the note above. Freshly Uncorked v1.33 The Market Value field is now front and center on every wine, not just the ones our AI has scanned. Enter what the bottle is worth today — auction result, a friend's offer, the best number you know — and it becomes the truth across the app: the wine detail card shows it, the cellar-value chart adds it up, and the Most Valuable list ranks it. Empty means we fall back to the AI's estimate; set means you're in charge. Perfect for rare bottles the AI can't price, back vintages the market has moved past, and anything you paid a very different amount for than it's worth today. Pour at peak.
