Beginbeat 1.1 - Dread Check-in - Before the countdown starts, a five-emoji panel asks how much you're dreading the task (Low A lot). One tap or Skip. Takes two seconds. - Dread Gap Insight - After rating dread and relief on 3 tasks, the Streak tab shows your Dread Gap card: average dread before, average relief after, the gap between them, and how often tasks felt better than feared. Research shows surfacing this gap directly reduces future avoidance. - Relief Rating After Starting - The post-task sheet now includes a five-emoji relief scale (Rough Great) so you can see how tasks actually felt vs. how you expected them to feel. Each rated task row in history shows an emoji badge (e.g., ). - Quick Re-begin - Tap the circular arrow on any past task in the Streak tab to instantly reload it into the Begin field. No retyping. - Your Patterns - After 5 starts, the Streak tab shows your best day of the week, best time of day, average starts per active day, and a weekday bar chart. - Post-session Notes - Optional "How did it go?" prompt after every countdown or focus block.
