7 updates tracked- v2.110d ago
New in 2.1 Smarter capture • Match to existing correspondents – the AI reuses a correspondent you already have instead of creating near-duplicates like "DHL Paket GmbH". • Prioritize OCR for the AI – better titles and tags on long, multi-page documents. • Custom title format – build document titles from a template, e.g. {date}_{correspondent}_{title}, with a live preview before saving. • Default tags – automatically add tags of your choice to every upload. • Re-run OCR to Paperless – replace poor server OCR with a fresh on-device pass to improve full-text search. • Swedish & Finnish AI metadata (beta). More connections • Client certificate (mTLS) support for Paperless servers that require one. Fixes • Scans are never lost if AI extraction fails – continue without AI or retry, instead of losing your pages. • Clearer message when iOS blocks local-network access to a LAN server (instead of a misleading "offline" error).
- v2.0.127d ago
Bug fixes: • The document scanner could freeze in landscape on iPhone – iPhone now stays in portrait so scanning works reliably. • Self-hosted Paperless servers over HTTP (including on your LAN or behind a reverse proxy) now connect. • The crash-report screen is fully usable again – reports can be submitted. • Fixed a crash when editing documents. • iPad: the AI model download button now appears correctly; devices without enough memory get a clear message instead of a blank screen. Thanks for all the feedback!
- v2.029d ago
Archi 2.0 “Horizon” – our biggest update yet. • iPad & Mac: Archi now runs natively on iPad and on Apple silicon Macs, with an adaptive layout. • Offline archive: Access your server documents without a connection – including PDF preview and full-text search. Choose what’s kept: recently opened, favorites, or your entire archive. • More transparency: The new “About the AI” page explains that all AI features run entirely on your device – with no data leaving it. Plus many refinements and bug fixes.
- v1.4.31mo ago
Faster, more flexible, more ways into your archive: • GPU acceleration: On-device AI now uses the Metal GPU — noticeably faster metadata detection. • Pick or create a document type: Choose an existing Paperless type in the review screen, or create a new one on the spot. • Batch scan: Capture several documents in a row without tapping again each time. • Share into Archi: Send PDFs and images straight to Archi from other apps. • Sort your document list: Freely configurable and persistent (e.g. recently modified). • Remember scan filters: Save brightness, contrast and color mode as your default. • Tap to scan: Optional — a short tap starts a scan, a long press shows the menu. Fixed: • Fixed a crash when uploading multi-page documents. • Importing no longer opens the camera by mistake. • More reliable AI review when merging server and AI values.
- v1.4.21mo ago
This update focuses on stability and your feedback: • Fixed a crash when scanning or importing documents with many pages • Fixed a crash during bulk editing • Documents no longer get stuck in "Processing" — existing stuck entries resolve automatically • Shared PDFs (e.g. from Adobe Scan) no longer disappear silently; password-protected PDFs show a clear message • Optimize Tags: now analyzes all your tags, repairs incomplete AI output, and shows how many documents each merge affects • Reverse proxy with subpath: lists with 100+ items and the connection test no longer report a false "invalid token" error • New API tokens are applied immediately • Inbox shortcut now works after a cold start • New: email support contact in Settings Thanks to everyone who reported issues!
