Compass Altimeter: Sun & Moon

Compass readings are now more stable when you rotate or tilt your device. Barometric altitude that has not yet been calibrated by GPS is clearly marked as an estimate, so you can interpret the measurement with confidence. For the most accurate altitude, keep Location Services enabled and spend a moment outdoors with a clear view of the sky; calibration completes automatically when the GPS signal is good enough. We also refined sensor handling and overall reliability for smoother readings during hiking, travel, and everyday outdoor use.
