Key Improvements and Fixes: Faster Radar Performance: We have optimized how radar data loads to ensure a smoother and faster experience when you first open the app. Refined Home Screen: Enjoy a cleaner look on your home tab with updated designs for the hourly and daily weather selectors, including improved temperature trend lines. Enhanced Weather Alerts: We have introduced custom notification sounds for weather, lightning, and rain alerts so you can easily distinguish them from other notifications. Improved App Reliability: This version includes several fixes for crashes and UI inconsistencies, particularly on iPad and when using landscape mode. Better Location Management: Fixed an issue where edited location names were not saving correctly, and improved how the app remembers your location preferences. Privacy Updates: Added a new Nielsen Privacy section in Settings and improved the opt-out flow to give you better control over your data. Smarter Review Prompts: We have adjusted the timing of app review requests to be less intrusive, appearing only after you have successfully interacted with key features. America 250 HQ Tab Celebrating America's 250th anniversary! Look for a new HQ tab featuring a dedicated live stream with special America 250 branding and a curated content feed. Faster App Launch Fixed an issue where the home screen would display "Forecast Data Currently Unavailable" or show empty placeholders on a cold start. Weather data now loads immediately when you open the app. Radar Timeline Fix Corrected the spacing of timestamps on the radar playback bar so they're now proportionally spaced based on actual time intervals, giving you a more accurate view of storm movement over time. Stability Improvements Addressed the top crashes reported in the previous release to make the app more reliable. Smaller App Size Video assets are now downloaded in the background using Apple's On-Demand Resources, reducing the initial app size and improving overall performance.

What's New in 3.10.0 Radar — Refreshed timeline scrubber with actual time labels in 30-minute increments. A new animated loading experience appears while map tiles download. Tapping the location button with location services off now shows a helpful prompt instead of failing silently. Location Management — Redesigned location search, saved locations list, and preview overlay. The preview card no longer cuts off weather data on larger devices. Fixed a crash when searching with a single character. My Events — "Suggested Events" on the Home screen is now correctly labeled "My Events." Event reminder notifications now show the accurate countdown (1 day, 7 days, etc.). The app now prompts you to enable notifications if they're off when setting up an event. Weather Conditions — Current conditions are now displayed in a refreshed pill-style layout. Bug Fixes & Improvements • Significantly reduced app download and install size • Fixed home screen widgets showing a "Device Error" • Improved retry behavior when weather data fails to load • Fixed a flicker when the video player expanded to full size • iPad article cards now show thumbnail and headline side by side • Settings inner pages updated to match the current design style
