Ancient Monuments Denmark

New map: All protected monuments Until now the app showed only the editorial selection of 1,049 notable monuments. Several people noticed it felt arbitrary — that a well-preserved burial mound stood right beside the one on the map without being included. So the whole protected register is now here: 35,215 actively protected monuments across the country. • Clusters with counts, so the map stays readable. Zoom in and they break apart. • Filters by main category and by 234 site types. • Search across the protection texts. • A detail page with structures, dating and the archive's full protection text, plus a link to kulturarv.dk. • Notable monuments are marked with a star on the new map. New front page The old buttons read "Kort 1" and "Kort 2" and gave away nothing about the difference. Each card now states what the map holds, who publishes the data, and how many sites there are. Fixes • The app is now correctly translated into Danish, German, English, Norwegian and Swedish. Some text previously showed its internal name instead. • A faulty point in the source data placed a monument off the coast of Africa and dragged the map with it. Points outside Denmark are now filtered out.
